Sheffield and London based website marketing company IM3 are now moving forward with a new project for a major online kid’s clothes store. This follows existing efforts and a new focus, aimed on gaining a competitive advantage in a highly targeted online sector.
MiniWardrobe (http://www.miniwardrobe.com/) is a fresh and innovative website for children's clothing. They offer a range of features on their website, including a 'Mini-Dresser' to create an outfit online, weekly offers and some high profile competitions. The website was started by a trio of entrepreneurs in 2010 (Caroline Kendal, Per Larsen and Ray Winters), and has enjoyed fantastic growth since their opening.
With the increase in online competition, and ever changing algorithms from Google, search engine optimisation (SEO) is constantly changing. By keeping up to date with ranking criteria and running industry related blogs, IM3 manage to consistently improve client performance within natural search results.
Their managing director Neil Palmer comments on the race for rankings being a non-stop effort to stay in tune: "Everyone in our industry is aware that search robots are getting smarter every day. Algorithms are changing the way they identify spam content, duplicate content and un-ethical link building practices".
He went on to add: "By being ahead of the game when it comes to technology, work effort and industry knowledge; you get the chance to make a real difference to a client’s traffic and sales. Things are changing so fast, it's like an F1 race that never stops!".
Social media is now expected to play an even greater part in online rankings, with the launch of the new Google+ network. The search giant has indicated that the +1 (or Plus 1) feature within the search results, will now play a role in how Google sees web-page popularity.
IM3 now provide SEO services to over 100 UK based websites, and have more than 3,500 top 5 rankings to date. The company was founded in Sheffield in 2007 by Neil Palmer, an ex online-retailer with an extensive e-commerce background.
