Phenominal. That’s the only word to describe the response to Make Me the Next Model 2011. Next’s nationwide search for modelling talent – now in its third year – has attracted almost three times more entries than ever before. Over 20,000 in fact and a whopping 1.9 million votes have been cast online at next.co.uk to determine this year’s top 250.

This year’s fun kicked off with a roadshow, launched at Westfield in London on May 30th. The Next team then travelled on to Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow, before heading over to Dublin. Entries flooded in. And now the entire top 250 (chosen by public vote) is being invited to Next’s exclusive Runway Academy in London on July 29th – a unique and truly invaluable introduction to all aspects of modelling, with tuition and advice from a host of fashion industry professionals.

During the course of this amazing one-day experience, a judging panel of industry experts drawn from Next, leading model agency Storm and Grazia, will choose 50 front-runners to return for the following day’s exciting live grand final.

There will be two overall winners – each of whom will win a fabulous £2,000 shopping spree at Next, the opportunity to star in a Next photoshoot, plus an introduction to Storm. For two lucky people, modelling superstardom now beckons . . .
