Lawsuits alleging illegal prescribing of dangerous narcotics and opiates causing the deaths of two young men were filed in the Orange County Superior Court on behalf of the families against Dr. Lisa Tseng. "Dr. Tseng is under investigation by the California Medical Board and the DEA and her license to prescribe narcotics has already been revoked," said Irvine attorney Larry Eisenberg who is representing the families.

"This is a tragedy and it is only a matter of time before retribution catches up with the doctor and her medical license is completely revoked," said Irvine Attorney Larry Eisenberg.

Lawsuits alleging illegal prescribing of dangerous narcotics and opiates causing the deaths of two young men were filed in the Orange County Superior Court on behalf of the families against Dr. Lisa Tseng. (Winter v. Tseng, et al, filed 7/8/2011, Case No. 30-2011-00489638 and Vaughan v. Tseng, et al, filed 7/8/2011, Case No. 30-2011-00489641.)

"Dr. Tseng is under investigation by the California Medical Board and the DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) and her license to prescribe narcotics has already been revoked," said Irvine attorney Larry Eisenberg who is representing the families.

Riley Russo and Ryan Winter were both 20 years old when they died prematurely last year. Besides their age, they had something else in common which the lawsuits allege led to their deaths, they each received medical treatment from Dr. Tseng, an osteopath in Rowland Heights.

"This is a tragedy and it is only a matter of time before retribution catches up with Dr. Tseng and her medical license is completely revoked. Her actions have destroyed the lives of my clients. Dr. Tseng is a danger to the community and has abused her privilege to practice medicine," said Eisenberg. The complaints allege damages for wrongful death on behalf of the parents of the victims. Allegations include responsibility under the California Drug Dealer Liability Act, which can be imposed against a physician who illegally prescribes controlled substances for profit.
