COMPUTERLINKS to assist in channel development starting July 2011

COMPUTERLINKS, a global value-add distributor, with offices throughout North America, EMEA, and APAC, has announced the partnership with CRYPTOCARD, a leading provider of two-factor authentication technology. This new relationship will expand COMPUTERLINKS’ product portfolio in North America, and offer a solid authentication solution to its reseller partners. Targeting channel development and growth, COMPUTERLINKS has focused its energies on developing partners through initial training, both technical and sales, and assisting with new lead generation campaigns to support CRYPTOCARD in promoting their two-factor authentication product throughout the North American channel.

“COMPUTERLINKS understands that the threats associated with unauthorized network access and the rise in demand for a strong authentication solution, have greatly increased over the past few years,” stated Russell Zientek, CEO of COMPUTERLINKS North America. “With impending threats surfacing daily, every partner, regardless of company size, should be protected against unauthenticated interaction. With the addition of CRYPTOCARD to the COMPUTERLINKS portfolio, we feel that there is a strong authentication solution that covers everything from applications within the cloud, to a user’s PDA.”

With support options available through CRYPTOCARD and COMPUTERLINKS, both companies are looking forward to further assisting the development of this product within the channel, and having a first-hand role in its support. The option to provide partner support to end user customers is available to reseller partners, contingent on the proper certifications. To ease that burden for reseller partners, COMPUTERLINKS has invested in the headcount to support resellers as they begin the initial interactions and deployments of this strong authentication solution, help partners as they grow their customer base, and develop their standing in the CRYPTOCARD Partner Program.

“CRYPTOCARD sees the value that COMPUTERLINKS brings to the table,” stated Lisa Walthers, marketing manager of North America for CRYPTOCARD. “With a distributor partner eager to add value and act as an extension of the vendor in terms of support, marketing, pre-sales and post-sales assistance, the partnership has the makings to be fortuitous for all, and to deliver a strong two factor authentication solution to both their existing reseller customer base, and into net new opportunities as we jointly work to grow the channel in North America.”

The CRYPTOCARD Partner Program
With many SMBs and enterprises depending on value-added resellers and consultants to deliver the highest standards in their security technology and services, the CRYPTOCARD Partner Program is designed to be a natural extension of partners’ offerings. The program provides proven technology, with the sales and marketing support necessary for partners to develop and strengthen their security practices.

CRYPTOCARD’s vision is to make two-factor authentication universally available to organizations globally, regardless of their size. Strong authentication is no longer the mystery and complexity it was a decade ago. Mobile tokens, automated provisioning, self-service, private/public and hybrid cloud deployments are not only protectors but enablers. The new standard is defined by how effectively a provider can streamline provisioning, ‘mobile authentication,’ be ‘the one’ credential and drive cost and complexity into the ground. CRYPTOCARD’s solutions are uniquely positioned to deliver on all fronts. Twenty years of technical achievements have won CRYPTOCARD the trust of thousands of organizations in over 70 countries.
