Michael Allen's new book explores how people see God’s love for them and how faith develops.
In this book, Michael Allen uses the term faith to refer to a collection of beliefs. This collection specifies what a person's beliefs are individually and how these beliefs relate to each. Every person has a Window of Faith that is given to each by God at conception. This “Window of Faith” holds all of a person's beliefs and is their direct connection to God. It is paramount over any other implied connection to God since it allows each one to see God in his or her own personal way. Every individual sees God in the way he or she wants to see God, in a way that is most comfortable for him or her.
Windows of Faith traces the origins of one’s faith, how family is one of the first influences that mold his or her beliefs. As a person matures, these beliefs become modified, which is automatically reflected in their Window of Faith.
How do we see God's Love for us?
What does it mean for God to be Infinite?
How does Faith develop?
These are just some of the questions that this book aims to answer.
This book also challenges religions of the world to take up two great tasks.
Move from religious tolerance to religious understanding to religious acceptance of all religions.
Improve the human condition, as this will reduce evil in the world like nothing else can.
