The award recognizes the top middle-market, value-driven companies in Northeast Ohio.

The selection process is based on each company’s earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) added to their total taxable compensation for employees living in Northeast Ohio’s 17 counties. The award-winning companies for 2011 have sales revenue up to $750 million and currently sell some of their goods or services outside the region.
Lexicomp’s role as a leading provider of point-of-care drug information continues to grow in Northeast Ohio and throughout the nation. In the past year, more than 350 hospitals have made the switch to Lexicomp, including the US Military Health System (31,000 clinicians at over 260 military treatment facilities), Adventist Health System (33 hospitals), Catholic Health Partners (31 hospitals) and Alberta Health Services (98 hospitals).
Lexicomp was recognized at the Crain’s Leading EDGE Award reception and dinner at Cleveland State University’s Student Center on May 18.
