“The name change to Pearlmark Real Estate Partners marks an exciting new phase in the growth of our firm as we continue to work closely with our institutional investment partners to provide outstanding results,” stated Stephen R. Quazzo
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) July 12, 2011
Real Estate principal firm, Transwestern Investment Company, recently announced its new name, Pearlmark Real Estate Partners. Since its founding in 1996, the firm has invested over $11 billion in office, industrial, retail, and multifamily assets, as well as mezzanine loans throughout the United States. This new branding and headquarters relocation marks the end of its affiliation with Texas-based Transwestern and reflects a management-led buyout that closed at year-end 2010.
Under its new name, Pearlmark Real Estate Partners (“Pearlmark”) will continue to be led by Chief Executive Officer Stephen R. Quazzo, with the experienced and long-standing senior team that remains in place from Transwestern Investment Company. Over the past 15 years, Pearlmark’s executive team has led the acquisition of interests in 470 properties and plans to build on this proven execution capability in its pursuit of value-add real estate investment strategies nationwide. Currently, Pearlmark oversees approximately $4 billion of U.S. commercial real estate investments.
Pearlmark also recently relocated its Chicago, IL headquarters to 200 West Madison from its previous space at 150 North Wacker. The new headquarters location at 200 West Madison is a Pearlmark investment made on behalf of one of its existing funds. Other national offices in Denver, Los Angeles and New York remain the same under the new name.
