iFood.tv, a leading online food and video recipe community, has partnered with Keith Lorren, celebrity chef and entrepreneur, to hold the first annual Keith Lorren ® $2,000 Recipe Contest. Contestants must create a video featuring an original recipe utilizing products from the Keith Lorren® brand of spices for a chance to win $2000 in cash or scholarships.
“iFood.tv is the perfect platform to launch this new $2000 video recipe contest because it provides a centralized platform in which people can connect and have a cultural interchange of great food and ideas!,” stated Keith Lorren. “I am overjoyed to launch this video recipe contest with ifood.tv because they are the only Internet food community that remains connected with each and every featured partner.”
Keith Lorren, a culinary student at the Culinary Institute of America, also produces an online cooking show and his own line of spices. He has traveled the world to discover and share authentic recipes, working in countries such as China, Japan, United Arab Emirates, Greece, and South America.
The contest officially launched on July 1st and will run until September. It is open to cooks and chefs with all levels of experience. Contestants must submit their recipe video and application to YouTube or iFood.tv. Their recipes must use at least one of the six Keith Lorren® seasoning brands. Entries will be graded on use of seasonings, originality, creativity, presentation, execution, and taste. 10 finalists will be chosen by a panel of Chefs and iFood.tv, and the final winner will win $2000 payable in cash or towards a scholarship. The contest winner may also be chosen to film a cooking episode with Keith Lorren.
In partnering with iFood.tv, Keith Lorren will gain access to the site’s culinary expertise and promotional channels. The contest provides a fun promotion highlighting the versatility of Keith Lorren brand spices, and an opportunity for iFood.tv’s users and content partners to win money to help achieve their career goals. This contest collaboration is just another example of how iFood.tv works with their content partners to help promote their online brand and bring more exposure to their content.
