-A Social Movement designed to elevate the caliber and profile of San Diego’s art scene.-

Artpreneurs host their second monthly event celebrating Bastille Day at the Se Hotel on July 14th, following a famously successful inaugural event dubbed, “a combination of class, sophistication and exuberance”, by Riveria Magazine. Guests will be exposed to emerging art, fine champagne, and the hottest music…and a warm welcome to the good life. Pardon My French is a social movement designed to elevate the caliber and profile of San Diego’s art scene by raising the bar in every area.
“My business partner’s Mr. and Mrs. Eric and Lindsey Fillion and I share a common goal to help propel the exposure of today’s up and coming artists,” said Ryan Crowley, co-founder of Pardon My French. “It’s about raising the bar to foster a renewed interest and appreciation for arts and culture in our community in a non-conventional way.”
Pardon My French present’s artwork in nightlife venues as opposed to traditional galleries and museums. As more and more galleries turn to Art Fairs to showcase their artists, it makes sense to create regular events that will evoke a social movement among young collectors to expose them to the talent in our city to further develop their appreciation for the arts and culture right here in San Diego.
“Our hope is that as it develops, it will grow to be similar to the era in Greenwich Village New York during the late 1950’s and early 1960’s,” added Crowley.
Pardon My French is partnering with the hottest venues in San Diego to fuse our emerging nightlife with the emerging art scene. The location of each event and the artist exhibiting changes every month so it’s always fresh, fun and exciting - never dull, boring or predictable. Events take place on the 2nd Thursday of every month. Our shared interest in the arts have brought us together with various charity organizations to be our non-profit partners to help bring new faces to the world of art and art collecting. A portion of all proceeds from each event will support a different local charity for each event.
Experience the world of art while mingling with other sophisticated individuals, sipping fine champagne and listening to sexy down-tempo lounge music in San Diego’s top nightclubs.
