Coventry (PRWEB UK) 14 July 2011
Staff from Coventry Building Society held a charity cricket match at Moreton in the Marsh Cricket Club on 3rd July and raised a fantastic £431.00 for their corporate charity, Age UK.
The match involved teams made up of staff from across Coventry’s head office and branch network.
Event organiser Daniel Hunt, Customer Adviser from the Swindon branch said, “It was a lot of fun. As well as the cricket we had a variety of family activities including a raffle, a BBQ, face painting and a bouncy castle. Every one had great day and we were delighted to raise £431.00 for such a fantastic charity.”
Paul Farthing, Director of Fundraising at Age UK, said “Well done to all who took part in the Charity Cricket Match, the continued support from Coventry Building Society is fantastic and helps Age UK to continue providing support and vital services for people in later life.”
