A Chicago child injury lawyer takes his message from the web to the podium

There’s no greater pleasure than a parent who walks away from me feeling empowered by new child safety awareness.

Child safety crusader Ken Levinson is jumping outside the blogosphere to speak with parents about child injury prevention.

“I love speaking to parents and inspiring them to be actively engaged in the safety of their children,” Ken Levinson said. “There’s no greater pleasure than a parent who walks away from me feeling empowered by new child safety awareness.”

Levinson also presents to legal associations and trains lawyers to better represent injured children. Levinson’s past audiences include:

  •     The Chicago Bar Association
  •     Neighborhood Parents Network
  •     Illinois Trial Lawyers Association
  •     Lawyers Connecting Group (Chicago and Northshore)

In 2010, Levinson created the blog The Safest Line to promote child safety awareness by educating parents about child product recalls and contemporary child injury threats.

After receiving invitations to interviews and speaking engagements as a result of The Safest Line’s popularity, Levinson felt that it was time to “take his message from the web to the podium.”

Levinson is currently booking public speaking engagements all over the country. His next two speaking engagements will be at the Kiwanis Club in LaGrange, Illinois, and at the Tennessee Association for Justice in Nashville, Tennessee.

“Being able to reach out to parents like myself is what I really enjoy. To know that I could help protect a child and save a family from devastation is the reason I do this,” Levinson said.

Levinson is available to speak on the following topics:

  •     Child Injury Law
  •     Child Product Safety
  •     Child Home Safety
  •     Daycare and Nanny Safety
  •     Child Bullying
  •     Making Streets Safer for Kids
  •     Child Traumatic Brain Injuries
  •     Preventing Child Sports Injuries
  •     Safety Precautions for Expecting Parents
  •     Child Car Accident Cases
  •     Child Safety Advocacy

“Accidents happen, but with just a little bit of education, parents can feel comfortable knowing they are in more control of their children’s safety,” Levinson concluded.
