Magmotor Moves to Larger Facility to Increase Manufacturing Capacity. Employee Base Expected to Triple.

"Automation is the back-bone of our country’s manufacturing because it allows companies to streamline their processes, making them more efficient and profitable,” stated Dr. Goodarzi.

Magmotor Technologies Inc., a fast-growing, innovative motor developer and manufacturer in Massachusetts, announced that it is expanding its design and manufacturing capacity in response to increased customer demand and continued new development of its servo-motor technologies. The move to its new 45,000 sf. facility located in Worcester will enable the company to accelerate its product development and address new markets in the hybrid and servo motor areas. Magmotor’s new manufacturing capacity is also expected to result in the growth of its employee base, in order to keep up with the demand for advanced quality motors that the company is experiencing.

The new facility will enable Magmotor to increase productivity and efficiency utilizing greater, state-of-the-art automated processes, which Dr. Abas Goodarzi, President and CEO of the company, asserts is its most valuable asset.

“Magmotor remains focused on automation because that is what our customers demand. Automation is the back-bone of our country’s manufacturing because it allows companies to streamline their processes, making them more efficient and profitable,” stated Dr. Goodarzi.

This facilities upgrade will further Magmotor’s overall growth including number of employees which is projected to triple over the next three years, allowing the company to produce higher quality motors at more competitive prices. Magmotor expects to add management, professional, technical and unskilled positions including design and manufacturing engineers, quality testing, and assemblers.
The expansion will permit Magmotor to decrease lead times while increasing quality and reliability of its product line. Additionally, the company will utilize the new space to commence a dedicated, advanced motor research division to address new hybrid and other alternative energy markets.

Magmotor produces advanced servo drive systems, Maglev and power conversion products. In conjunction with its affiliated company, US Hybrid of Torrance, California, Magmotor has commenced producing advanced electric motors for hybrid and electric commercial vehicles for on-road and off-road application.
Founded in 1876, Magmotor specializes in providing advanced, cost-effective electromechanical motion control solutions to traditional and high-tech markets throughout the U.S. and internationally.
