Richard Bolger, owner of The Bolger Law Firm PLLC, has been named to the annual list of the Legal Elite by Virginia Business Magazine, according to Bolger. The magazine asks lawyers throughout the state of Virginia to vote for attorneys that they consider exceptional representatives of the legal profession, and publishes a Special Report with the results. The Legal Elite practice in a variety of legal disciplines; for instance, Bolger is a bankruptcy attorney.
“To say that I am honored doesn’t begin to say it,” said Bolger. “Our system of law is based on decisions by a jury of our peers, and it is a jury of my legal peers who have determined that my work achieves the high standards of our profession. I am humbled to know that I have their respect. “

The magazine names the “elite” in 15 categories of law, and there are several thousand votes tabulated to determine those who make the list.
Bolger said that the honor arrives at a time when his law firm has launched a new website, and has instituted a new bold logo in red and black, with white lettering. “We have always provided state of the art legal representation. I wanted an online presence and a graphic look that mirrored our commitment to forward-thinking service.”
The Bolger Law Firm, PLLC is a member of the NACBA, the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. The firm also handles business bankruptcy, as well as real estate and personal injury law. It is based in Fairfax, Virginia and serves the Washington, DC metro area. Richard Bolger is licensed in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia and has been in practice for more than 20 years.
When asked to cite the standard that he follows in his practice and that he sets for his firm, Bolger quoted a recent United States Supreme Court opinion: "What makes the lawyer professional is his insistence that in the legal realm he sets the parameters of what he will and will not do – and he tells the client what he believes is in the client's best interest."
