The leading, online, EHR (Electronic Health Records) Training Course is nearing the end of a two year pilot program with the Department of Labor and JobCorps. The program consisted of over 10 locations located throughout the nation led by instructors at the JobCorp locations to follow the curriculum set forth by CareData. TrainForEHR offers the only online, access to a LIVE EHR. A live EHR is useful to students when learning becuase they are working from an actual EHR, the same experience they get to learn from, is the same they will be exposed to in the real world.

Train For EHR Enterprises uses CareData EHR as their live EHR, while also offering exposure to other EHR programs currently offered in the market, such as GE Centricity's EHR. These other EHRs are offered as simulation but still give students exposure to what it is like working in other EHR software programs.

Most EHR software programs are more similar than different. Just like learning to drive a car, you may get to learn to drive in a Honda, but will find similar controls, such as lights, windshield wipers, radio controls and other mechanisms just located differently.

TrainForEHR allows students to run a live EHR gives them opportunity to send an electronic prescription, order labs, review EKG results and even run reports based upon realistic test data. Students are presented with various ways of learning from video tutorials to hands on learning.
