Fourth NPMA Delegation Visits Haiti

National Pest Management Association sends twelve professionals to Haiti to perform vital pest management services.

Twelve industry professionals (listed below) left yesterday on National Pest Management Association’s fourth trip to Port-au-Prince, Haiti.  These delegates will once again be performing vital pest control services to an area hospital and an orphanage.  After 2010's devastating earthquake, the lack of adequate pest management has complicated health risks within the country as even hospitals have been plagued by disease carrying pests.  The delegates' work has been enabled through the generous support of industry professionals and many of their friends and customers through our Pest Management Pledge to Haiti.

During previous trips to Haiti efforts of NPMA have consisted of garbage pick-up, sealed surgical rooms that now prevent flies, mosquitoes and other flying insects from contaminating and cross contaminating patients, protection of medical supplies from rodent feeding, reduction of mosquito population, and a lot more.

From Houston, TX president of ABC Home & Commercial Services, Raleigh Jenkins and his son Dylan Jenkins will be joining NPMA on this trip.

Delegates:
Travis Aggson, American Pest Management
Mike Anderson & Noreen James, Steritech Group, Inc.
Tim Baietto , Quik Kill Pest Eliminators, Inc.
Hope Bowman, Western Exterminators
John Dunbar, Terminix Service, Inc.
Jim Fredericks, NPMA
Chris Haggerty, American Pest Control
Raleigh & Dylan Jenkins, ABC Home & Commercial Services
Tom Nishimura, BASF Pest Control Solutions
