Tom Chestnut, Vice President of NSF International’s Supply Chain Food Safety, will address Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute (PMMI) attendees during his presentation, “Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) – What It Is and Why You Need to Know” on Thursday, July 14th at 1pm CT in Rosemont, IL. Packaging standards are now being benchmarked under GFSI and will impact the packaging industry for the first time. Chestnut will discuss the standards in more detail and the benefits of global food safety certification during the PMMI Safety Conference.
