This webinar will focus on Special events for health care organizations. Special Events are a very important part of most annual giving programs, yet they continue to be costly for organizations and stressful for those that manage them. This session will focus on ways to make special events more cost effective, less stressful, and well respected within a health care organization. Learn tips and strategies on how to hold special events with an average cost to raise a dollar of less than 15 cents. Information on a successful third-party event brochure, retiring an event, and annual corporate sponsor programs will also be discussed.

A distinguished special events professional will present this online professional development session for fundraising and special events professionals in health care philanthropy and education advancement. Lisa Oriolo, Special Events Specialist, with York Health Foundation in York, PA will share her expertise on creating successful and cost effective special event programs.

Attendees will learn about the importance of having a third-party event policy in place for events and will learn to create an annual corporate visit program for events. The session will cover how to build a dynamic event committee and deal with difficult committee members. Other topics discussed will include creative freebies and tips for keeping sanity at event time.
