Tucson, AZ (PRWEB) July 14, 2011
Sunquest Information Systems, Inc.®, a leading provider of healthcare diagnostic information technology and outreach solutions, hosted a special “Build a Bike” charity team building event on July 13th from 5:00-6:30 pm during its Sunquest User Group (SUG) 2011 Conference and Exposition, held at the Hilton Tucson El Conquistador Golf & Tennis Resort, in Tucson, Arizona.
Fifteen bicycles, assembled by teams representing regional user groups, as well as backpacks and helmets, were donated to La Paloma Kids and Tu Nidito, for distribution to boys and girls in the community. Kelly Feist, Sunquest’s vice president of Marketing commented, “One of the best things about hosting the SUG Conference is the opportunity for users and employees to give back to the Tucson community.”
The SUG meeting offers a rich program of educational workshops and interactive forums, networking events, and a vendor exposition. The event also includes a unique two-day Executive Workshop, an interactive discussion by top healthcare leaders on the role of the lab in accountable care organizations (ACOs), and meaningful use demonstration. Also featured this year is a special session presented by the College of American Pathology discussing the role of the pathologist in our changing healthcare delivery model.
