Critical Infrastructure Exchange, a data center and telecommunications industry event designed to help those professionals solve their most pressing infrastructure-related challenges, today issued a Call for Speakers for the opening session and technical breakout sessions.

Critical Infrastructure Exchange, a data center and telecommunications industry event designed to help those professionals solve their most pressing infrastructure-related challenges, today issued a Call for Speakers for the opening session and technical breakout sessions.

The two-day Critical Infrastructure Exchange is designed to educate data center and telecom operation, engineering and standards professionals about the latest and most innovative infrastructure technologies and solutions. Technical sessions will address the key critical infrastructure challenges attendees face, including availability, capacity, efficiency, bandwidth and deployment speed, and will be organized by data center and telecom applications. Attendees select the challenges that matter most, then follow a path filled with ideas, trends and technologies to help them solve those challenges.

Speakers will have the opportunity to share their expertise and experiences with 2,500 engineers, buyers, managers and executives expected to attend the Nov. 8-9 industry event in Columbus, Ohio. Interested parties may submit a topic for consideration or recommend a topic or speaker using the speaker submission form on the “Speakers” page at http://www.CriticalExchange.com. The deadline for submissions is August 1, 2011.

Presentations should provide insight and information at intermediate and advanced levels. Submissions will be evaluated based on:

    Topical importance and relevance
    Strength of business case or case study
    Objectivity (noncommercial)
    Speaker knowledge and expertise

The opening session will feature an industry keynote speaker and an industry panel on cloud computing. The two-day event also includes Expo Zones where attendees can interact with innovative technologies and a variety of data center, telecom and IT professionals, as well as tours of Emerson Network Power facilities.
