"Drive the 405" was written by a psychiatrist who has shared it on Youtube in hopes of offering some levity to frustrated California drivers in the cae of the impending 405 freeway closure.

Carmageddon, the "affectionate" local name for the 405 freeway closure this weekend, is rattling drivers' nerves, but a local psychiatrist says that a dose of humor will be the best recourse to get through this frustrating event.

Dr. Liane Colsky, also known as America's Funniest Psychiatrist, wrote "Drive the 405" while sitting in traffic one day on the 405, one of the nation's most congested freewaya. "There was nothing I could do to change the situation, so I started making light of it and came up with this song, which highlights the typical travails California freeway drivers face," she states. "I put it up on Youtube in hopes of sharing some levity not only during this tough weekend, but when driving in Southern California in general."
