LOOP Digital Media Ltd has launched it's P1 Business Jet magazine on to the iPAD after incredible growth in the use of iPAD's among business jet owners, pilots and operators. The new app is the first for business aviation making use of the opportunities that the ipad offers.

LOOP Digital Media announces the creation of the world’s first business aviation news and flight test magazine specifically for the Apple iPad, as it grows its P1 print title to include a special version for the media tablet.

P1 Magazine is a must-read title in this critical sector of aviation – a known powerhouse of the economic recovery and vital tool in the armoury of top businesses. The magazine focuses on business aviation news and matters, and flight tests the most relevant aircraft in the sector.

The P1 app takes the best of news, analysis, market trends, and data vital to business flying, and combines it with the interactivity and video capability that makes the iPad a natural fit for the business aviation community.

The debut edition of the free app features a world-first flight test of the hugely impressive Embraer Lineage 1000 intercontinental business jet. This is a $50m version of Embraer’s well-known E-190 airliner, configured for business and private use, capable of journeys of up to 5200 miles.

Embraer is the fourth largest aircraft manufacturing company in the world, and the test is the first to be conducted with a dedicated air-to-air photoshoot to capture this stunning aircraft. It was test-flown by renowned P1 test pilot Bob Davy who takes readers right into the cockpit with his analysis of the Lineage, and addresses all the issues that make required knowledge for operators and owners.

The Brazilian manufacturer has made huge inroads into the business aircraft market in recent years, emerging as a heavyweight rival to the long-established bizav manufacturers like Bombardier and Cessna, and the edition includes a behind-the-scenes visit to Embraer’s factory in Brazil.

Elsewhere in a packed edition No.1, P1 looks at the biggest developments at the giant EBACE European business aviation show, analyses the startling innovation on the new HondaJet – the first aircraft from the giant car firm – and looks at the kind of car with strong appeal to those who might own a jet, Porsche’s Panamera GT.

Innovative features on the app make it a match for any top quality magazine on the iPad, including video reports and footage, interactive elements, and controllable 360-degree views of the HondaJet and its interior.

The app is targeted at those who fly, operate, and utilise business jets, and those part of and interested in this dynamic industry, and includes an extensive datafile and dossier section listing business aircraft details and market trends.

The app is free on the iTunes App Store.
