WeGotIn.Net is pleased to announce that it has significantly expanded for the 2011 application season to offer a large and diverse group of successful applications from first year students at Harvard, Yale, Penn and Cornell, in addition to Brown and Columbia which were first offered last year. This expansion will help WeGotIn.Net fulfill its mission of shedding light on the one significant component of the college application process that remains shrouded in secrecy and making the admissions process more transparent.

"Grades and test scores were set by senior year, but the applications were blank pages – many felt that seeing how they were actually completed by accepted students gave a real advantage and allowed them to maximize the effect of their application."

WeGotIn.Net, the only source for copies of complete accepted applications to selective colleges, is pleased to announce that it has significantly expanded for the 2011 application season. WeGotIn.Net now offers a large and diverse group of successful applications from first year students at Harvard, Yale, Penn and Cornell, in addition to Brown and Columbia which were first offered last year.

The applications on WeGotIn.Net contain the entire response to each question - not only the general essay request, but also the often difficult short questions that are asked. They are NOT edited in any way (other than the removal of clearly identifying information). WeGotIn.Net allows students to see what the admissions committee is in fact looking for instead of listening to someone else’s opinion, however well informed they may be, of what they think the committee is looking for.

WeGotIn.Net was founded in 2010 to shed light on the one significant component of the college application process that remains shrouded in secrecy and make the admissions process to selective colleges more transparent.

Howard Yaruss, the founder of WeGotIn.Net, said that the response last year, when only applications from Brown and Columbia were offered, was “truly gratifying.” He added, “Many students noted that their grades and test scores were set by senior year, but the applications were blank pages – they were the one part of the admissions process over which they still had control. They said that seeing how the applications were actually completed by accepted students gave them a real advantage and allowed them to maximize the effect their application would have on their chances for admission.”

This advantage has proven particularly valuable to those who may not have had the benefit of a network of friends, family and advisors who were accepted to selective colleges. By offering this service for only $24.99 per school – a small fraction of the cost of literally any other service aimed at improving the odds of being accepted by a selective college – WeGotIn.Net aims to help level the playing field for ambitious college applicants.

To further this goal, WeGotIn.Net announced last year that 100% of its profits will be donated to scholarship funds at the colleges for which it sells applications and that access to the service will be offered at no charge to high school seniors who cannot afford the $24.99 fee.
