All Flex Flexible Circuits, LLC, manufacturer of flexible circuits and heaters, is celebrating 20 years of business. In 1991 Anne Lundstrom started the company offering short lead times for single and double sided flexible printed circuits in small quantities servicing industrial customers with prototype and engineering requirements. The company quickly grew to also serve the medical, aerospace, military, and other various markets.

All Flex created a name for itself by offering affordable product in low volumes and providing design and engineering support for customers with limited flex circuit experience. Two decades later the business is still headquartered in Northfield, just 45 miles south of Minneapolis. The company has expanded its product offering, its customer base and its manufacturing capacity and capabilities, with factories in both Northfield and Bloomington, MN.

In the early 1990’s All Flex added to its niche offerings with its trademarked Maxi-Flex™ circuits that are oversized including one design that was over 40 feet long, a capability very few flex circuit manufacturers have. Beginning in 2000 and over the next 10 years All Flex responded to continued demand for more value in less space by expanding its capability to include multilayer flex, rigid flex, and value added assembly; including automated surface mount and mixed form factor assembly and test. In 2008, All Flex introduced flexible polyimide and silicone rubber heaters to their product offering. “Heaters are now the fastest growing segment of the business,"says All Flex Sales Manager, Dave Becker. He adds,"throughout all of the improvements in product offering, capabilities and factory expansions, All Flex has remained customer driven, our track record of providing products and services that focus on customers’ needs proves that."

In 2007, after 16 years of success, the original owner retired and today All Flex is privately held and owned by and Granite Equity Partners, and a group of company employees. Granite Equity partners is a private investment firm that grows companies in greater Minnesota for continued long term stability.

Upon reflecting on the company’s 20th anniversary President and CEO Greg Closser says, "This is a great company with wonderful employees. I am proud that we have been able to continue achieving significant growth in both revenue and profitability in the years since Anne retired, while keeping true to her legacy of keeping the customer at the center of what we do. A willingness to change our business practices, to make the customer more successful has always been at the core of the business model Anne created."

Today the company employs just over 125 people in its two facilities. All Flex Flexible Circuits can be found in many applications, in the markets of government, military, medical, instrumentation, aerospace, industrial, medical, and telecommunications.
