On April 15, 2009, Ken Griffey, Jr., hit career home run number 613 while playing for the Seattle Mariners. The Emerald Home Run was named after Junior's 613th home run in the emerald city. The home run was his 400th as a Mariner, making Griffey the first player to hit at least 400 home runs with one team and over 200 with another. Junior had 210 with the Reds.

Instantly, the legendary Dave Neihaus cried, "This one will fly away, and that makes number 400 for Junior as a Mariner." Author Steven Andrew Janda says he instantly thought of Moses who God called to lead the children of Israel out of Egypt and into the promise land. Sixty-nine days later, Junior mysteriously hit the 5,000th home run in Mariner history against the Padres who reported 777 players through the 2009 season. Since Lamech lived to 777 before the Flood, Janda named the home run The Lamech Home Run, and then launched a research project adding up all home runs in the history of MLB through 2009. A triple seven home run is the 777th home run among all players born on any given calendar date. Janda found seven triple seven home runs in 2009, which, by month and day, added up perfectly to 5,000. The first two of which, were hit on the 127th and 137th days of the year, matching the 127 years of Sarah and the age of Abraham, 137, when Sarah died. The triple seven on the 137th day of the year was hit by Adam Kennedy who is now playing for the Mariners. On June 10, 2010, Adrien Beltre hit the 127th 777 home run on the 77th anniversary of the very first 777 by Babe Ruth on June 10, 1933. The Genesis Calculator is like unto finding an antique car before the Flood before cars were invented. http://www.emeraldhomerun.blogspot.com .
