Bellingham United FC Announces Title Sponsor

Bellingham United FC have reached an agreement with Bellingham Bay Coffee Roasters to be the club's title sponsor for their inaugural season in 2012.

Bellingham United FC (BUFC) announced the title sponsor for their inaugural season in 2012. Bellingham Bay Coffee Roasters have recently signed an agreement to be the official title sponsor and partner of Bellingham United FC. The deal is highlighted by the ‘Bellingham Bay Coffee Roasters’ logo featured prominently on the club’s home and away jersey.

The logo of Bellingham Bay Coffee Roasters will also be at the forefront of BUFC's official site http://www.bellinghamunited.com as well as advertisements at home games, and other promotional events throughout the year.

“This is a key partnership and building block for our club going into our inaugural season,” said Bellingham United FC owner and president Jeff McIntyre. “Our goal was to partner with a local company that is integrated into the community and passionate about soccer. Bellingham Bay Coffee and the Torres family are the perfect fit.”

“We are originally from Bogota, Colombia. We love the game of soccer and once we heard there was going to be a semi-pro club in Bellingham we didn’t think twice; it was just natural for us to reach out and be part of it,” said Julian Torres, owner of Bellingham Bay Coffee Roasters.

BUFC and Bellingham Bay Coffee Roasters have already collaborated once this year on another project, producing a new coffee blend, “The Morning Header.” The proceeds from which are going to benefit Soccer Without Borders, a non-profit organization that leverages the game of soccer to impact the lives of marginalized youth around the world.

Bellingham United also have plans to announce several other new sponsors in the remaining months of 2011 through the beginning of 2012.
