Minneapolis, MN (PRWEB) July 19, 2011
Wolters Kluwer Health, a leading global provider of information for healthcare professionals and students, announced today that Lexicomp is named a Top Workplace in Northeast Ohio by The Plain Dealer.
Lexicomp is a leading provider of medical information and clinical content solutions for the healthcare industry. They provide the tools necessary to help improve patient safety, ensure compliance, and elevate the quality of care patients receive. In May, Lexicomp was acquired by Wolters Kluwer Health. The acquisition is the latest in a series of strategic acquisitions Wolters Kluwer Health has made in its Clinical Solutions business as part of the company’s strong focus on the point-of-care market.
The Plain Dealer’s list of Top Workplaces was a result of thousands of employee surveys and many months of analysis. The list of companies, nonprofits and government agencies were generated from public nominations as well as invitations. Companies in 11 counties were eligible to participate if the company employed at least 50 individuals in Northeast Ohio. More than 45,000 people were surveyed online at 235 different employers.
“We are very proud to be recognized as a Plain Dealer Top Workplace for a second time in as many years,” said Steven Kerscher, Lexicomp’s Vice President and General Manager. “We pride ourselves on improving our workplace environment each year and engaging our employees to make our culture and results better. We have a patient centric mission for better healthcare outcomes and our employees live that responsibility with the utmost care.”
Lexicomp is pleased to be recognized for treating their employees well, being considered a fair employer, and being optimistic about Ohio’s economy.
