San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) July 20, 2011
Recurve, Inc., a San Francisco-based provider of home performance software, today announced its Recurve software has been approved for use in the Green Jobs-Green New York free/reduced cost audit phase of the New York Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® (HPwES) Program. The NY HPwES Program is administered by the New York Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA). Participating Contractors using the Recurve software product for Green Jobs-Green NY audits are now eligible for reimbursement of the free/reduced cost audit fee. Participating Contractors must upload the XML export and a PDF of the audit report from Recurve to NYSERDA’s Program Implementer to get reimbursed.
Contractors participating in the NY HPwES Program will still need to use NYSERDA-approved energy modeling software for full Program projects; however, Recurve is currently pursuing software approval and expects it to be available later this summer.
“The acceptance of Recurve software in the Green Jobs-Green New York Program signifies the Program’s commitment to enabling the success of their contractors,” said Andy Leventhal, CEO, Recurve, Inc. “This stamp of approval gives contractors who use Recurve’s industry-leading software the confidence to know that they’re providing their customers with the highest level of quality, accuracy and service when performing home energy assessments and retrofits.”
Special pricing is available to Participating Contractors in the New York Home Performance with ENERGY STAR Program. Contractors interested in using the Recurve software product should contact Recurve, Inc. at (415) 294-5380 or email software(at)recurve(dot)com for details.
