Global Healing starts within oneself. We can expand our consciousness and learn how to change mindsets by transforming negative emotions of hate, jealousy, anger, control and fear into positive emotions of love, happiness, joy, compassion, and freedom.
Orlando, FL (PRWEB) July 20, 2011
Fulbright Publishing and Harbor House of Central Florida are proud to announce an evening of healing to celebrate the launch of the sequel to Vipin Mehta’s Global Healing book series and Art Exhibit at the Orlando Museum of Art on August 10, 2011, Wednesday, from 5:30pm – 9pm.
This free event is hosted by City of Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and joined by special guest, Harriet Fulbright, Ambassador of the Fulbright International Exchange Program and wife of late Senator James William Fulbright.
President Bill Clinton, a lifelong friend of Harriet and Senator Fulbright, was personally handed the first book off the press in honor of his charitable work and international efforts to further peace by helping bridge various mindsets around the world.
The evening shall focus on healing from a local level to a global level as Mr. Mehta raises awareness of our inner-senses and dimensions of choice and provides a deeper understanding of the workings of the human mind. “Global Healing starts within oneself,” Mehta states, “we can expand our consciousness and learn how to change mindsets by transforming negative emotions of hate, jealousy, anger, control and fear into positive emotions of love, happiness, joy, compassion, and freedom."
In the Global Healing foreword, Harriet Fulbright says of Mr. Mehta, "His ideas are deliberately inclusive; they lie outside the particulars of distinct religions or political structures. They can be understood and accepted by all religions, all political parties and ideologies, and by all races, tribes and citizens in all parts of this planet. They focus on the human ability to reach out to those who are different in upbringing, outlook, skin color and cultural orientation and to understand and accept those differences without feelings of threat or the need for combat."
Harbor House of Central Florida, Orange County’s only state-certified domestic violence facility, certainly espouses these ideas as they champion empowering survivors of domestic violence to take control of their own lives by rediscovering safety and self-esteem. In support of this mission, guests are requested to bring a pair of children’s shoes as a donation to Harbor House of Central Florida in support of young children returning back to school this fall season.
