Louisville, KY (PRWEB) July 23, 2011
DRE, a premier medical equipment company that is among the fastest-growing privately held companies in the United States, has added two new managerial positions to guide the company’s continued expansion.
John Dadds, who brings decades of experience overseeing financial and operating divisions within the health care industry, is DRE’s new Chief Financial Officer. Dadds brings knowledge of mergers and acquisitions, plus banking and private equity financing, that make him a valuable resource as DRE positions itself for future growth.
Keith Koebel is the company’s new IT Manager, bringing years of technical experience from local companies such as Republic Bank and Hilliard Lyons.
The additions come during a period of prolonged growth for DRE. In the fall of 2010, DRE was honored in the Inc. Magazine 5000 as one of the fastest growing privately held businesses in the United States.
“The challenge is having the staffing level to accommodate the growth, not only people but space and technology,” Dadds said. “For example, when you’re very small, one person can do accounts payable and accounts receivable, but at some point the jobs need to be split among two people who specialize.”
Dadds joins DRE from Associated Insurance Service, Inc. where he had served as Chief Operating Officer since 2006. Previously, Dadds served 17 years as Chief Financial Officer for SpectraCare, Inc., a regional home healthcare company he helped grow from the startup phase to annual revenues of about $70 million. By taking over as CFO, Dadds frees up DRE Managing Partner Mike Spencer to concentrate on further growing the business.
As the new IT Manager, Keith Koebel will oversee a large computer network with two offsite locations. Koebel will update the company’s technology, including adding connectivity for smartphones and touchpads for remote locations and employees on the road, and putting in new bandwidth to make the site quicker for customers and employees.
“There is so much growth potential and opportunity in the technology,” Koebel said. “There are a lot of upgrades I look forward to bringing on board.”
The additions position DRE for further growth, said Justin Jeffries, DRE Marketing Manager.
“Growth is a challenge for any-sized company,” Jeffries said. “New leadership in key areas of expertise will allow us to build the business infrastructure using a balanced approach. Adding John and Keith provides a very strong foundation for the continued development of the business.
"These moves, along with our ongoing strategic initiatives, are designed to position DRE as a leader in medical equipment distribution."
