4 Wheel Parts expects to attract more than 200 off-road vehicles to an outdoor customer appreciation event in Hollister Hills, Calif., on Sunday, July 24, 2011. The event is open to the public and will include a trail run, plus other themed activities. Advance registration is required.

4 Wheel Parts, the leading distributor of off-road parts for trucks, Jeeps, and SUVs, will host an off-road event in Hollister Hills, Calif., on July 24. The event’s headlining activity will be a caravan-style trail drive in the hills, and attendees are encouraged to bring their own off-road vehicles to participate. There will also be an on-site barbecue, plus opportunities to interact with manufacturers and win free prizes.

To participate in the trail drive, off-road enthusiasts must register by July 23 at any 4 Wheel Parts retail store. A $5 registration fee will be collected at that time. 4 Wheel Parts has retail locations in Oakland, San Jose, Modesto, Sacramento, and Santa Rosa.

4 Wheel Parts stores around the country host outdoor events throughout the year. These festival-style events combine family-friendly fun with off-road-themed activities. The upcoming Hollister Hills event will be larger in scale than previous Northern California events, because several 4 Wheel Parts stores are involved. More than 200 vehicles are expected to participate. Manufacturer representatives from Pro Comp, Smittybilt, G2 Axle & Gear, Performance Auto Group, and Trail-Gear will also be on site.

Registered attendees will check in for the trail drive in Area 5 of the Hollister Hills State Vehicular Recreation Area (“Hollister Hills SVRA”). The barbecue and raffles will also be held in Area 5, and raffle tickets will be given out at various checkpoints throughout The Upper Ranch.

Hollister Hills SVRA is situated just south of Hollister and about an hour from San Jose. The SVRA’s Upper Ranch contains roughly 24 miles of trails available for 4-wheel-drive recreational driving. Motorcycles and ATVs will not be allowed into the 4-wheel-drive area for this event.

In addition to hosting customer appreciation events, 4 Wheel Parts also gives back to customers online at http://www.4wheelparts.com/ and through social media sites, including YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and blogs, such as 4WheelPartsBlog.com and Team4WheelParts.com.
