Waterscapes Pools & Spas has sold 97 pools in the first half of 2011, putting the company 17 percent ahead of projections. Waterscapes is building pools for new home buyers, existing homeowners, and communities. Higher pool sales are a sign of increased consumer confidence, as home buyers feel assured that values will increase and believe homes are a strong investment. Waterscapes is a division of Neal Communities that began a little less than two years ago. In that time, the company has sold 226 pools.
“We started a pool company because we wanted to give our buyers the best pools available with the Neal Communities level of customer service,” explains Michael Storey, president of Neal Communities’ building division. “We took something that was often a difficult customer satisfaction experience and turned it into something positive.”
Waterscapes is building pools for Neal Communities’ and Neal Signature Homes’ buyers, as well as Cardel Homes’ and Bruce Williams Homes’ buyers in Central Park. The neighborhoods of Belleisle (in Country Club East) and Claremont Park (in Central Park) each already have a Waterscapes pool in their recreation centers. The company also builds pools in existing homes or for other homebuilders.
