Stanek Windows announced today that Chris Dingman, former left wing for the Tampa Bay Lightning’s hockey team is endorsing its Clearwater, Florida branch across radio and soon television.

Dingman, 35, is a native of Edmonton, Alberta. The 6’4’’, 235-pound winger has been with the Tampa Bay Lightning since 2002. He was a key component in the club’s 2004 Stanley Cup title. He also won the Stanley Cup in 2001 with the Colorado Avalanche.

Known as “a real tough guy” for his rigid play on the ice and time spent in the penalty box, Dingman was one of the toughest players in the NHL. He “Discovered the Stanek Difference” when he was asked to try and break one of its windows with a hockey puck during last spring’s Fan Appreciation Day during “the pre-game events & festivities.

“When Stanek asked me to shoot pucks at their impact glass, I fired over 30 shots and finally broke my stick instead,” said Dingman. “I quickly learned that for protection from the storms of Florida, there is no safer place than behind Stanek hurricane impact series windows.”

“With Florida’s strict building codes to protect homeowners from the heaviest storms that hit the region and the need for the strongest and most reliable windows, Stanek and Dingman are really the perfect pair,” said John Stafford, General Manager, Stanek Windows, Clearwater/Tampa/Sarasota. “Dingman is as tough as the windows we build and install.”

“Being from Canada, I understand the cold, but I have lived in Florida for over nine years so I know the heat, too,” continued Dingman. “That’s why I recommend Stanek Impact Series Windows with UltraCool technology. This innovative window technology not only protects me & my family from burglars and storms, but keeps my power bill down and my house cool, too.”

Dingman is producing radio and television spots for Stanek Windows and will be making an appearance at the Clearwater educational showroom in early winter.
