Practicing yoga outside can be a really fun, inspiring experience. The energy is high, you are hearing the sounds of nature and you really start to feel connected to your community.

CorePower Yoga (CPY) is saluting the sun across the country this summer with its Summer of Yoga series. Committed to making yoga accessible to all students, CPY will be setting up studio by lakes, rivers, ponds, parks and malls and offering free community classes for all levels.

“Practicing yoga outside can be a really fun, inspiring experience,” said Brigitte Koepke the Grand Avenue (St. Paul) studio manager and organizer of Minneapolis’ Yoga by the Lake series. “The energy is high, you are hearing the sounds of nature and you really start to feel connected to your community.”

Students new to yoga are encouraged to roll out a mat and experience the benefits of the practice, including stress relief, increased flexibility and weight loss. All CPY instructors are certified and spend training time learning how to teach new students. Anyone who likes the practice will be eligible for a free week of yoga at any CPY studio to explore all the classes, instructors and locations offered.

CPY strives to share its authentic passion for yoga and healthy living to inspire everyone to live their most extraordinary life. Look for a CPY yoga class in a park near you!
