In an effort to help more Dallas-area companies leverage the latest money-saving communications technologies, Westron Communications has added Jimmy Curtin as its new vice president of sales. Westron is ramping up its efforts to reach more enterprise and mid-sized organizations that need to create efficiency, improve security and devise communications strategies that enhance customer satisfaction. The company designs and installs technology infrastructure, while also selling unified communications, video conferencing and other technology-based products that can drive more profit to the bottom line.

Curtin offers unique experience that will allow him to take a consultative approach to the sales process. His background includes managing sales teams of up to 120 that targeted all areas of the telecommunications arena, from carriers to channel sales and end users.

“Jimmy provides a key component to Westron’s continued growth and success,” said Dave Casey, chief executive officer for Westron. “We’re excited to add a leader with such well-rounded sales experience and a true, in-depth understanding of the challenges our customers face in their businesses. Jimmy's passion for customer satisfaction will blend perfectly with the culture we have built at Westron.”

“I joined Westron because of its incredible reputation with customers,” Curtin said. “We are a soup-to-nuts technology provider that can cover everything a company needs for communications, from video conferencing and wireless products to infrastructure and telephone systems. In today’s world, customers are considering unified communications, collaboration and other new solutions, and they can benefit from our more than 25 years of experience in data, voice and video.”
