Transnational Government of Tamil Eelam (TGTE) today condemned brutal bomb attacks in Norway and offered condolences to the Government of Norway and to the people of Norway.
"We are saddened by these brutal attacks in Norway, a country which contributed enormously to world peace. We remember Norway's tireless efforts in bringing cease fire in the island of Sri Lanka and it's attempts to facilitate peace talks between the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam
(LTTE) and the Government of Sri Lanka. People of Tamil Eelam stands with the People of Norway at this difficult time." said TGTE Prime Minister Visuvanathan Rudrakumaran.
Norway is a country of peace and any attack on that country should be considered an attack on the peace loving people of the world. Everyone around the world who love international peace should be united in condemning these attacks" continued TGTE Prime Minister.
The TGTE is a democratically elected Government of the Tamil diaspora from the island of Sri Lanka . TGTE held internationally supervised elections in 12 countries to elect Members of Parliament (MPs). These MPs drafted and ratified a Constitution, elected a Prime Minister, Speaker, and a 10 member Cabinet.
