Both executives join the Belgium company’s new U.S. office — based in Austin, Texas — and will lead Nomadesk’s go-to-market strategy.
Filut comes to Nomadesk with seven years of international business experience. He was most recently VP and General Manager of Newser, where he increased the news website’s visitors from 15,000 to more than 2.5 million per month. Prior to Newser, Filut was VP and General Manager at HighBeam Research. He also held management positions at BroadJump and 360Commerce and spent 10 years working for GE Medical Systems. He earned a bachelor’s in management (computer systems) from the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater, and an MBA from the University of Texas.
At Nomadesk, Filut will lead the company’s product development and customer acquisition strategies, including brand, public relations and customer engagement programs.
McAuliffe, a seasoned professional with more than 25 years of information technology-related sales management experience, has managed strategies for selling technology solutions and services for a wide array of industries. Before joining Nomadesk, he served in sales executive positions at Apple, McAfee, Oracle, Sun Microsystems and several start-ups.
McAuliffe will build and direct the sales organization at Nomadesk, focusing on acquiring reseller partners and selling Nomadesk solutions to large enterprises.
