Boston, MA (PRWEB) July 26, 2011
Code Red, Inc., the leading technology provider of Research Management Systems, continued its brisk growth by adding about 25 new clients in the first half of 2011 to its Red Alerts RMS™. As a third of these new clients were in Europe and Asia, Code Red opened a London office, currently staffed by 4 employees, in January and is opening a Hong Kong office in September.
Global Cross-Asset Research Support
In addition to Fidelity Investment Management, Ltd. in January, other hallmark clients signed during the first half of 2011 include a large NY based mutual fund that manages both fixed income and public equity, Princeton University Endowment, National University of Singapore Endowment, the American Red Cross, the Alfred I. duPont Trust, as well as several top tier global hedge funds in the US, UK, and Asia. These mutual funds, hedge funds, consulting firms, endowments, and foundations chose the configurable and easy-to-navigate Red Alerts RMS product to manage their investment research process across many types of asset classes.
In order to keep up with the global demand for Red Alerts RMS, Code Red made two key hires in 2011. In March, Code Red hired Thomas Yasin to oversee the operations in London for all European clients, and in June the company hired Thad Brown to oversee operations in Hong Kong for all Asian clients. Yasin joined Code Red after working as a senior implementation and support consultant for ConvergEx’s Eze Castle Software, Ltd. in London for five years. Brown joins from the Yale Investments Office where he spent six years as the assistant director of Information Technology.
Brown will work in New York for 2 months prior to moving to Hong Kong in September.
“Our growth both geographically and in client count across all asset classes continues to demonstrate that financial services firms require a very open and flexible research management product, but one that is also very intuitive and easy to use.” Gavin added that, “In order to keep up with that global demand, we are thrilled to welcome two key individuals to our team to help manage our continued expansion in the global marketplace,” said Code Red CEO Tim Gavin. “Mr. Yasin and Mr. Brown both join Code Red with long and successful track records at two premier and highly respected financial firms. Their unique talents will be instrumental as they build out teams to implement and support our increasing international client base.”
“We are pleased about Code Red opening their office here in Mayfair,” said Manish Chauhan, the director of technology at Tufton Oceanic, a London based hedge fund and a recent new client of Red Alerts.
“Code Red provides a superior RMS and their local support has been instrumental in getting the system rolled out to users in multiple offices in the UK and Asia.” John Monahan, the director of technology at Japan Advisory, Ltd., a Tokyo based hedge fund and a Code Red client for several years added, “While Code Red has managed to support us well for the past few years from the US, their having a presence in Asia will ensure that we continue to get prompt assistance during our working days when we require it.”
