Montessori Education Supplies Comes to the US

Montessori Education Supplies will be represented this week at the 2011 Southeast Homeschool Expo in Marietta (Atlanta) GA.

Montessori Education Supplies originated several years ago when the current owner's Aunt Nilu was a Montessori school teacher in Canada. Out of necessity, she periodically brought home educational supplies that were broken and needed repair. Her husband Andy was an engineer and able to fix many of the damaged items so before long he began the business of supplying Montessori school products to Montessori schools in the Toronto area. Andy's success came quickly because he made sure to source exceptional-quality products that were made with a little extra care and attention to detail.

Uncle Andy then told current owners Bob and Lubna Reece about his plans to expand his business supplying high-quality, durable Montessori teaching materials into the US market. Bob confirms “It’s not often that you find a business opportunity that is both rewarding and fun so thanks to my uncle, we are very fortunate to be in just such a business! Montessori Education Supplies officially began operations here in North Carolina in the fall of 2010”.

Since that time Montessori Education Supplies has developed a new and innovative tool to prevent the beads and skittles from falling off the edge from either the Division or the Multiplication Boards. It’s called the Math Box and is actually a handcrafted wooden frame that fits around the respective boards, eliminating the countless times required to go to the floor to pick up the spilled pieces.

They have also made it their mission to offer US Montessori educators smart, engaging, durable products at affordable pricing, with products that their uncle would approve. And they also look forward to forming long-lasting relationships with schools, educators, parents, daycares, home schools, private schools, and special needs educators.

Montessori Education Supplies will be attending the upcoming expo in Atlanta at the Southeast Home School Expo where they plan to introduce Montessori products to parents and guardians of home schooled children.

The catalog and price list are easily found on the Montessori Education Supplies home page at along with back copies of their monthly newsletter and various monthly special sales.
