Launches “I Got My Degree” Video Contest for Recent Graduates

After a recent website redesign, today announced an opportunity for students to show off their newly acquired degrees and their excitement for the future. The contest follows a recent Pew Research Center report that asked “Is College Worth It?” Surprisingly, despite recent budget cuts and tuition hikes, 86 percent of college grads with a four-year college degree feel their education was a good personal investment.

“Graduates are clearly energized about receiving their degrees, recession or not,” said Michael Stearns, spokesperson. “We wanted to give them the chance to celebrate their success and win an iPad while doing it.”’s “I Got My Degree” Dance Video Contest launched July 25 and runs through August 12. Based on submissions received and the creativity of the entries, one grand prize winner and several honorable mentions will be announced on August 19. Winners will be announced on the website, the YouTube page, via direct mail and across the site’s growing Facebook and Twitter profiles. The lucky grand prize winner will receive a brand new iPad2.
