Back to School is a highlight of every summer at Fellowship Church. It’s an opportunity for us to step up and step out in a tangible way. it reaches into the very lives of families in our communities and shows them that God truly cares for them.

As part of Fellowship Church’s Love Your Neighbor missions effort, starting Sunday, July 10, school supplies can be donated at any of Fellowship Church’s five locations. The Downtown Dallas and Grapevine locations are also collecting backpacks in addition to school supplies. There are three major ways anyone can get involved in the”Back to School” drive: Donate, Adopt, and Serve. A list of needed supplies can be downloaded at http://www.FellowshipChurch.com/backtoschool.

Donors can also partner with Fellowship Church to adopt specific children and supply them with their needed school items. Adoption packets can be picked up at any church location at the “Back to School” booths located in the atrium. Donations can be returned to the same booth by Sunday, August 7.

Individuals who want to get involved in this effort also have an opportunity to serve after the school supplies have been donated. Opportunities are available to help sort, organize, and distribute the school supplies across the community. For more information on serving, visit http://www.FellowshipChurch.com/backtoschool or call 972-471-6815.

Fellowship Church’s women’s ministry, Flavour, is also getting involved in the school supply drive by using their monthly meeting, scheduled August 8 and 9, to sort and prepare the school supplies to be distributed throughout the community.

“Love Your Neighbor: Back to School is a highlight of every summer at Fellowship Church. It’s an opportunity as a church for us to step up and step out in a tangible way. And the impact that we see goes far beyond school supplies and backpacks; it reaches into the very lives of families in our communities and shows them that God truly cares for them!” Ed Young
