State Higher Education Commission Approves College for Online Students

The Tennessee Higher Education Commission has verified that Anthem College Online is qualified to enroll residents into its diploma and degree programs.

“This is very good news for us, and we believe, for Tennessee residents,” says Anthem College Online Division President Darcy Richardson. “They now have another college choice, at a time when more people are turning to online learning than ever before.”

Anthem College Online offers programs in the healthcare, accounting, business, paralegal and criminal justice fields. The College is preparing to enroll students in two new programs: an Associate of Science degree in Health Information Management, and a Diploma in Medical Office Administration.

Online education is popular with working adults who often need the flexibility to determine when and from where to log on to attend classes and complete assignments. Other people who benefit from an online education include caregivers—particularly stay-at-home parents of young children—people who live far from college campuses, and persons with mobility-related disabilities.
