JourneyForth Books has joined NetGalley, a digital galley service. This partnership will allow librarians and reviewers to view new JourneyForth releases before publication.

Each time JourneyForth places a new title in the NetGalley catalog, it becomes available for reviewers, librarians, and other readers to request.

JourneyForth Books joined NetGalley. According to NetGalley.com, NetGalley is a service that allows publishers to “share digital or print galleys with reviewers, media, booksellers, librarians, bloggers, and other contacts.”

Each time JourneyForth places a new title in the NetGalley catalog, it becomes available for reviewers, librarians, and other readers to request. Once a request is approved, the reader may download a digital galley of the book. This process enables JourneyForth to work more closely with reviewers, delivering the content they want to review in an easily accessible format.

“Joining NetGalley also allows us to connect more effectively with librarians,” says Rebecca Kenney, publicist for JourneyForth. “Many librarians are interested in the type of clean, high-quality youth fiction that JourneyForth can offer. NetGalley gives us the opportunity to showcase new releases to libraries that may not have previously been aware of our products.”

JourneyForth will soon be offering advance reader copies of upcoming releases. The five JourneyForth titles currently available on NetGalley were released within the past two years. “These are high-interest titles that we thought would serve as a good introduction to JourneyForth Books,” says Kenney. “The requests from librarians, reviewers, and educators are already pouring in.”

Divine Service by Betty Henderson explores servanthood as seen through Christ’s example in the gospel of Mark. Through Jewish Eyes by Craig Hartman reveals fascinating parallels between Jewish customs and New Testament truth. Just a Minute by Andy Bonikowsky is a collection of brief but meaningful meditations on Scripture. Also available is the middle-grade novel The Far Journey by Lucille Travis. When a fateful escapade puts the mouse colony of Fleur Gardens in danger, Horace must set aside his own dreams to defend his friends. Avery’s Battlefield by Deanna K. Klingel is the most recent release, featuring a boy, his dog, and their search for peace during the long years of the Civil War.

Reviewers and librarians can sign up for a free account at NetGalley.com, browse upcoming releases, and request galleys from JourneyForth Books and other publishers. The NetGalley site is easily searchable by genre, publisher, or keyword, making it simple for readers to find the books of most interest to them.
