Redding, CA (PRWEB) July 28, 2011
The Economic Development Corporation of Shasta County officially launched http://www.shastaedc.org, a new-and-improved website that will serve as a tool to help bring new jobs to the Northern California region.
“The new website is optimized to attract business owners and site selectors looking to move or grow their operations,” said Mark Lascelles, president of the Economic Development Corporation of Shasta County. “Business site selectors now have easy access to the features that make Shasta County a hidden gem for business expansion and relocation: local, state and federal business incentives, shovel-ready building sites, a strong infrastructure, appealing workforce profile, affordable utilities and a superior quality of life.”
Simple Business Solutions, a sole proprietorship based in Shasta County, was responsible for the design and development of the website.
The Economic Development Corporation of Shasta County is a private, nonprofit corporation founded in 1958. Based in Northern California’s Shasta County, the EDC focuses on development of the primary industry sectors that form the county’s economic base. The EDC does this by recruiting companies from outside of the area, working to help retain and expand existing companies, and by providing an entrepreneurial environment that assists in the creation of companies from within. More information about the EDC can be found at http://www.shastaedc.org.
