Advantage Litigation – a division of the Advantage Companies – announces an expansion in their Minneapolis, MN office and has hired Michael Elliott as the Director of Business Development to focus on growth and client relationships. Mr. Elliott has been a very visible and respected professional in the litigation support field for well over a decade, and has experience in computer forensics, pre-digital discovery, e-discovery, data breach investigations and more.

Jeffrey Kiley, COO for the Advantage Companies, is very enthusiastic about Michael joining the team and has high expectations for the future of Advantage Litigation: “Michael is an individual that focuses on all the right things - the most important of which is the needs of the client. His consultative approach builds trust and has led to many long-term relationships during his career. His top priority will be to build new relationships with partners, clients and vendors while increasing revenue so we can continue to reinvest in people and technology.”

Michael shares Jeffrey’s enthusiasm: “Advantage Litigation offers a unique combination of services, trial expertise, and technology solutions unparalleled in the Midwest,” said Michael Elliott. “No other entity can offer the type of end-to-end solution that Advantage can. I am joining an incredible team and an amazing company that is rapidly growing. I look forward to helping steer that growth over the next few years.”

Michael goes on to say, “The key factors that attracted me to Advantage was the quality of people it employs and the standards it has for its team members. Unlike traditional service bureaus and ‘copy shops,’ Advantage only hires professionals with experience in the industry or a strong legal background. The team’s familiarity with the world of litigation and electronic discovery has made Advantage Litigation well-known in Minnesota & Iowa, and we are excited to expand our presence throughout the Midwest and beyond.”

Advantage Litigation has supported more than 300 trials nationally. They have extensive experience with inData’s Trial Director Software, as well as Summation and CaseLogistix. They have partnered with industry leaders to provide tools such as iPro, Catalyst, Concordance, Relativity, the Clearwell E-Discovery platform and more. The ability to support traditional litigation support services and a strong focus on e-Discovery, combined with the decades of trial consultation and courtroom experience of the Advantage Litigation team, provides Mr. Elliott a rich variety of services and expertise to offer potential partners and current clients.

Advantage Litigation plans to continue their expansion in the near future.
