Over 3,500 influential BlogHer attendees get first look at magical new way to share life's special moments in real time.

GLMPS, a new mobile, social way to share life’s moments, and BlogHer, Inc., the premium cross-platform media network and publisher for women, will partner to spotlight the launch of the GLMPS iPhone app at BlogHer ‘11 in San Diego, on August 4-6. BlogHer attendees will have the opportunity to get a first look at the GLMPS app, which will be available starting August 4th in the iTunes store.

More than a photo, and not quite a staged video, GLMPS is an iPhone app that helps you capture the moments in your life with unprecedented and unparalleled richness. GLMPS allows you to “press play on your photos,” and makes it easier and faster than ever to share your moments with one-click via Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, and Tumblr, or via email, text message, etc.

GLMPS was founded in 2010 by Paul Robinett and Nick Long. The third member of the GLMPS founding team is Esther Crawford, who has been a staple among the women’s blogging community for years and was an attendee at the first BlogHer|bet, a conference with actionable programming and mentoring for women with an interest in business, entrepreneurism and technology. In addition to her founding role with GLMPS, Esther consults for companies targeting women and moms online and is a national spokesperson for Weight Watchers and a consumer advisor for ConAgra Foods and Endorse.

“We integrated our company launch with BlogHer because it’s an amazing platform to reach early adopters who are capturing the special moments in their lives every day,” said Esther Crawford, co-founder, GLMPS. “The BlogHer community is made up of social media savvy women who are among the most connected and influential women in the world, and we can’t wait to get their feedback on GLMPS.”

Now in its seventh consecutive year, the BlogHer Annual Conference brings together thousands of social media savvy women from all over the globe, making it the largest event of its kind. This year, BlogHer '11 will attract more than 3,500 attendees and nearly 100 sponsors to facilitate learning, networking and relationship-building. Sponsors, new and returning, include many Fortune 500 brands.

“As part of BlogHer’s mission to spotlight the work of the incredibly accomplished women in our network, it gives us particular pride to be able to support longtime BlogHer Esther and her co-founders at GLMPS, as they bring their innovative mobile app to market,” said Elisa Camahort Page, co-founder and COO, BlogHer. “It’s a major win for our 3,500 attendees to get first crack at GLMPS, and a win for us to give this kind of launch platform to an alumna of BlogHer’s Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology Conference. We look forward to seeing all of the “glimpses” coming out of BlogHer ’11 in San Diego next week.”

Media and bloggers who would like to arrange a time to speak with GLMPS can contact us directly to schedule. GLMPS will have an on-site presence all weekend, at Booth 436, at various other spots around the exhibition floor, and of course at as many social events as they can possibly attend.
