McLean, VA (PRWEB) July 28, 2011
LogiXML, the pioneer of web-based business intelligence (BI) software, today announced that its fiscal second quarter ending June 30 was its 10th sequential quarter of growth. Through the first half of 2011, the company’s sales grew 122 percent versus the same period in 2010.
“The key to our upward track continues to be our lightweight, web-based approach which enables us to succeed in markets where traditional BI platforms fall short,” said Brett Jackson, CEO, LogiXML. “The architecture of our products gives our customers significant benefits by allowing them to more easily create BI and analytics applications, and quickly deploy them to large audiences, or embed them within applications – all at a fraction of the cost and time of alternative approaches.”
The company acquired a record number of new customers within the quarter in its core SMB and OEM markets. The company’s embedded BI business was especially strong with multiple competitive wins against traditional BI vendors, as wells as open source alternatives. The superior embeddability of LogiXML’s web-based architecture allows ISV and SaaS companies to add business intelligence and analytics capabilities to their products more quickly and at a lower cost than an internal build.
Earlier this year, LogiXML was positioned for the first time in the 2011 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Business Intelligence Platforms*, where its products ranked among the highest for ease of use, overall product functionality, support, product quality, performance, and customer experience.
