... we at The Learning Coach, believe there is a need for the learning community to re-orient the emphasis of solid learning design using technology, rather than the other way round!
London, UK (PRWEB UK) 29 July 2011
The Learning Coach - previously Trainer1 – an independent ‘training and advisory’ company, offers services designed to build capability and improve performance in the design and development of effective learning.
The Capability Matrix is a comprehensive and progressive programme of seminars and workshops that enable learning professionals design and build their own learning solutions.
The programme already covers instructional design, assessments and media and provides the knowledge, skills and the ability to transform theory into practice efficiently and effectively. The programme has now been enhanced with the inclusion of two new modules – Learning Screen Design and More than an Authoring Tool.
Speaking about the new courses, Managing Partner, Neil Lasher says, “With the increased adoption and use of authoring tools we are seeing a resurgence of a technology led dependency where learning is being designed by the functionality and features of the technology. Recognising this, we at The Learning Coach, believe there is a need for the learning community to re-orient the emphasis of solid learning design using technology, rather than the other way round!”
Neil Lasher himself will deliver the first Learning Screen design course on The 9th September and Suzy Cooper, also a partner at The Learning Coach, will run the first More than an Authoring Tool (for Lectora) on the 23rd August.
