The exciting new dice game called “amazing” and “mind-blowing” by the National Parenting Center will be challenging guests at GENCON in Indianapolis, IN with a contest to win free games and cash. GENCON runs from August 4-7 at the Indianapolis Convention Center.
Heartland Consumer Products is bringing Square Shooters® to GENCON for the first time, and is unveiling its “That’s How I Roll!™” challenge to game players (http://www.thatshowirolldice.com). Guests can play a hand of Square Shooters® and try to win a free game set; or they can be filmed while showing off their special rolling style for a chance to win cash. The funnier, sillier, or more dramatic the style, the better! Square Shooters’ Facebook fans will vote for the winner.
Square Shooters® is more than just one great game. It’s a full deck of cards printed on dice. When you’re done playing with the main feature game, you can use the patented dice to endlessly play a dice version of other card games like rummy, 21 and poker. The game has earned three major awards within only nine months of its introduction.
The game’s inventor, Carmelyn Calvert, will be signing copies of Square Shooters at GENCON. “I’m thrilled that Square Shooters is finally coming to market,” says Calvert. “Heartland has done a great job of landing major toy, game and mass market stores for the 2011 holiday season, but we’re so excited to give the game enthusiasts at GENCON a chance to preview Square Shooters® before it’s more widely available.

The game impressed toy buyers from both mass and specialty retailers around the U.S., and Heartland immediately went into mass production to meet the demand.
