Karen Harrington hopes to borrow a page from the Marco Rubio campaign and overwhelm the establishment with national grassroots fundraising and support. She lost on her first attempt in 2010 but did get 40% of the vote in her first outing.
Karen hopes to defeat Debbie Wasserman Schultz who has made herself a national target with her recent exchange with Congressman West and her sharp interviews with the media, remniscent of those previously conducted with Anthony Weiner.
David Easlick, a Naples, Florida, consultant who has experience with prior political campaigns, believes that taking the battle to the social media will mount a grassroots outpouring of support that will rival what Marco Rubio was able to accomplish with his grassroots Tea Party Campaign in 2010.
According to Easlick, in Karen Harrington, "we have a fabulous, conservative, small business owner who truly wants to bring America and her South Florida district, back to where it belongs and to kill the massive tax and spend ideas of DNC mouthpiece Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Barack Obama." The campaign will be "all over" Tea Party Nation, linkedin, facebook, twitter and other social media.
