HEAD, known as the world’s leading competition brand in Racquet and Winter Sports, dives into the Competitive Swim category with early success at the World Championships.

Announced this week in Shanghai, one of the world’s fastest swimmers, former world-record holder and Auburn University alumni, George Bovell has joined HEAD Swimming.

Competing in the 50m Freestyle event, George had the fastest qualifying time and advanced to tomorrow's Finals medal event with a strong Semi-Final performance. He is using HEAD LIQUIDFIRE race-suit technology and Stealth race goggles for the first time in international competition.

George joins a HEAD team of outstanding Athletes such as the world No. 1 tennis player Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray and ski-racers Bode Miller, Lindsay Vonn and Didier Cuche.
